The lockdown marked a before and after in our lives. Remote work is a modality that has come to stay, along with the exodus from big cities in search of the tranquility of small towns. This house, located in Sant Hilari Sacalm, stands in an environment where the rhythm of everyday life is peace and calm, surrounded by mountains and forests to enjoy a rustic and rural atmosphere. Sant Hilari is a small town with about 5,000 inhabitants where neighbors know each other by name. It is located between the Montseny Massif and the Natural Space of Les Guilleries, just 45 minutes from the city of Girona.
The owners built it twenty years ago, shaping it according to their taste, especially with the intention of having space to enjoy family moments: emphasizing Sunday meals, outdoor games, and the privilege of experiencing the home. It's a four-sided house where the sun's rays penetrate every corner at all times of the day.
